The famous Morgan Silver Dollar was produced from 1878 to 1904, and a 1921 production, at five different U.S. Mints. The dollar is 38.1mm in diameter and has 0.77344 ounce of pure silver. The dollar is mounted on a sterling silver plate with sterling silver straight edge bezel, twist wire, and half round border.
